Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

·       
Ensures that Total Uganda Limited (TUL) Health
and Safety Policy requirements are upheld during the execution of duties in the
Supply Chain by self and all Supply Chain stake holders / partners.

·       
Responsible for sales demand planning and stock
needs projection for importation of petroleum products from TUL supply sources
in accordance with TUL Supply Policy.

·       
Monitors stock availability and plans movement
of petroleum products together with the Operations – Transport department from
loading to offloading points.

·       
Responsible for stock posting in SAP for product
that is issued from Source to TUL in liaison with Supply back office teams

·       
Responsible for analyzing and reporting stock
costing to the sales – supply committee in accordance with TUL stock costing
strategy to ensure First In First Out supply model.

·       
Support sales and marketing strategies with
secured supply plans and minimize impact at customer level of any supply/demand
discontinuity and develop contingency plans to address exceptions such as
unplanned shortages.

·       
Liaise with Sales teams to conduct negotiations
with suppliers

·       
Develops KPI for designated supply channel by
imported product types, take ownership of achieving the set targets and reports
performance to supply-sales committee

·       
Responsible for Supplier payment projections
with the Finance department in line with working capital requirements to ensure
adequate stocks availability.

·       
Ensures that vendor payments are completed in
accordance with contractual obligations.

·       
Monitors and ensures timely service provider
payments to ensure the smooth transfer of cargos along the TUL supply chain.

·       
Works with supply back office and operations –
sales teams to ensures that stock movement reconciliations are completed in
designated reporting periods.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The applicants for the TOTAL Supply Officer job
opportunity should hold a Bachelor in Procurement and Supply Chain Management,
Accounting (CIPS is an added advantage)

·       
Three years of experience in Supply Chain and
Operations (Petroleum Industry is an added advantage)
