Job Summary:  The Community Managers champions our mission
to build a  community of high growth
startups while connecting them to the network, resources, and community they
need to scale. You are responsible for 
operational excellence and member experience, and extending our services
to the community within and beyond our walls.

You’ll be tasked
with continually meeting our members needs, understanding your local market,
and delivering on a quality hospitality experience for our members and anyone
who walks through our doors. This position is located outside Kampala in our
regional offices.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

Membership

·        
Ensure a
gracious arrival experience for all members, prospective members and
stakeholders.

·        
Create a
high quality, curated member environment identifying  and executing opportunities to connect
members with each other while proactively spotting opportunities for potential
community involvement to support our members.

·        
Oversee
& maximize community events ensuring goals are met and event spaces are
optimised  and occupied to the highest
degree member enrichment events and revenue generating opportunities

·        
Manage
the facility to Innovation Village 5-star operational and hospitality standards

·        
Support
the planning and supervision of educational, professional and personal
development events based on members’ needs and requests

Ecosystem
Development

·        
Build
and maintain a network of local partner organizations in line with membership
needs.

·        
Build a
strong environment including connecting founders to each other, and the
partners they need

·        
Qualify
all new members applying to the community

·        
Oversee
regular programming & events to make sure we’re creating a valuable
experience for members

·        
Build
the Innovation Village  reputation
through outreach and business development

Sales &
Operations

·        
Ensure
the Campus is running smoothly from an operations & process perspective

·        
Oversight
and responsibility including manage member turn-over

·        
Take an
active role in sales including tours, accounts and targeted goals

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Passionate
about building things (teams, companies, people)

·        
A
connector and relationship-builder – you’re the person who knows everyone

·        
Willing
to get your hands dirty – we’re a small but mighty team and need people with
the ability to roll up their sleeves and work side-by-side with their team to
get it done

Great at
multi-tasking and prioritising
