Job Summary:  The Monitoring and Evaluation Manager will
oversee all aspects of monitoring and evaluation of Innovation Village
activities and departments that conduct them. S/he will be responsible for
designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation systems and be involved in
communicating the outcomes to stakeholders at multiple levels. S/he will design
and implement a monitoring and evaluation system to capture data from
Innovation Village activities across the country and region The M&E Manager
will also lead processes to review and analyze evidence to inform Innovation
Village’s strategy.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

·        
Lead and
ensure the quality of all monitoring and evaluation and knowledge management
components of activities

·        
Ensure
the integration of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities into all
activities

·        
Oversee/lead
the collecting, reporting, and analysis of data and information on project
activities.

·        
Ensure
timely and complete reporting to partners in accordance with approved reporting
formats,

·        
Monitor
and evaluate progress towards meeting Innovation Village’s annual work plan
objectives and expected outputs, including selecting progress indicators and
monitoring progress in meeting them.

·        
Assist
in the preparation of work plans, selection of progress indicators, and annual
implementation plans

·        
Coordinate
the preparation of all quarterly insight reports, annual impact report, and
ad-hoc technical reports, and success stories

·        
Collect
data for the annual M&E plan and use the data to drive organizational
improvement

·        
Adapt
and implement tools and techniques to improve the quality and use of data for
decision making

·        
Participate
on behalf of the Innovation Village in appropriate technical meetings and
conferences

·        
Other duties
as assigned or required

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

·        
The
applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any field preferably Statistics,
with strong applied Knowledge of Survey CTO or ODK or Telerivet.

·        
Experience
in M&E online data management systems and Statistical Packages (Excel,
SPSS, STATA).

·        
Five
years of professional experience in monitoring, evaluation and reporting of
projects or programs.

·        
Demonstrated
research experience and skills, complemented by experience in collaborating
with varying types of partners.

·        
Must
have exceptional communication and presentation skills, fluency in English,
strong teamwork and effective cross-cultural interpersonal skills.
