Job Summary:  The Cleaner will ensure the office and
compound spaces are clean and provide a presentable working environment for
staff and visitors.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

Office cleaning
(85% of Time):

  • Cleans the office building floors and
    windows by sweeping, mopping and scrubbing accordingly and washes the
    curtains as required.
  • Dusts and wipes office furniture and
    equipment.
  • Cleans office kitchen floors, equipment
    and utensils.
  • Cleans and tidies the office toilets.
  • Disposes garbage on daily basis and
    washes towels, where
    applicable.

Administrative
support (10% of Time): 

  • Greets visitors coming to the office at
    reception and escorts them to the appropriate RTP staff.
  • Serves refreshments to guests and RTP
    staff members as required.
  • Runs the office generator where
    applicable.
  • Performs administrative tasks such as
    photocopying.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The ideal candidate for the Right To
    Play Cleaner must hold a post-primary school certificate.
  • Two years of experience similar or
    directly related work in an office environment.
  • Enthusiastic to perform all physical
    aspects of the cleaning job responsibilities
  • Strong sense of responsibility,
    initiative and self-motivation
  • Ability to work independently with
    little supervision
  • Ability to understand and implement
    hygiene rules
  • Languages: Excellent local language and basic
    knowledge of English
