Job Summary:  The Branch Manager – Bugolobi will oversee the
communication, implementation and delivery of business strategy within agreed
service standards and manage staff performance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Drive a service culture within the
  Branch and adherence to the Service 
  standards
• Monitor customer complaints, identify
  trends and root causes and address them at the branch to prevent
  recurrence
• Grow the balance sheet (assets and
  liabilities) as per set targets
• Drive a sales culture within the branch
  for all staff by allocating individual sales/campaign targets for the year
• Interpret branch financials and update
  the team on the Branch’s performance on a monthly basis
• Manage Branch costs with emphasis on
  containment of controllable costs 
  such as overtime, petty cash, power, telephone, travel, repair and
  maintenance costs in accordance with set budgets
• Agree performance contracts for direct
  reports  and provide monthly
  performance feedback in order to maintain performance at required levels
• Arrange for training for direct reports
  in line with personal development and talent development plans (i.e.
  On-the-job, classroom based, attachments, job rotations

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

• The ideal candidate for the Stanbic Bank
  Branch Manager – Bugolobi job placement must hold a Bachelor’s degree in
  Business Studies or a related field from a recognized university
• At least three years in managerial or
  supervisory position
• Good knowledge of service, sales
  techniques and branch operations
• Good knowledge of the retail banking
  value propositions
• Knowledge of the banks policies and
  procedures
• Knowledge of managing local market sales
  principles
• Knowledge of Code of Banking Practice
