Joint Medical Store
(JMS) is a Church founded private not-for-profit organization whose mission is
to supply affordable Quality Health Solutions in an efficient manner assuring a
preferential position for Medical Bureaus and Sustainability of Member Health
Units.

Job Summary:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for implementing approved
marketing activities in a professional manner in order to meet the overall
sales and marketing objectives of JMS in the assigned market segment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Act as a liaison between JMS and the different stakeholders in the
    assigned region and resolve or report any pertinent issues.
  • Promote Joint Medical Store products and services in the assigned
    territory.
  • Recruit new customers for JMS and implement initiatives to retain
    them.
  • Provide relevant technical support to customers and stakeholders.
  • Prepare the ground for territorial events and marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to get business, recruit new
    customers to grow our customer base.
  • Identify business opportunities through the tender system.
  • Introduce new products in the market to grow sales revenue.
  • Carry out market surveys to inform decision making on market
    strategies.
  • Identify new business opportunities and target to sell to particular
    customers’ segments.
  • Compile and submit reports in line with reporting lines.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The ideal candidate for the Joint Medical Store (JMS) Sales
    Representative job placement must hold a Diploma in Pharmacy, Clinical
    Medicine, Nursing, or Medical Laboratory Technology
  • Good training and experience in marketing of pharmaceutical products
    is desirable.
  • Computer literacy including experience in use of MS Word, Excel and
    Outlook.
  • Proven experience in customer and market research.
  • Strong clinical knowledge
  • Valid class B driving license/Moto Cycle license.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated high level of integrity in line with JMS values.
  • Handling the pressure of achieving targets.
  • Creativity.
  • Resilience
  • Time management skills
  • Planning, organizational and prioritization skills
