Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Support the Education Manager Quality with supporting the Ministry
    of Education and Sports with the development of the Education and Sports
    Sector Strategic Plan;
  • Under the guidance of the ECD Manager, prepare a  blog article on the ECD programmes
    implemented in  partnership with NGO
    partners
  • Under the Guidance of the Adolescent Specialist, prepare 2 blog
    articles on UNICEF’s support to Adolescent refugees

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal candidate for the United Nations UNICEF Internship – BEAD
    job opportunity should hold a Master’s Degree or completed Master’s Degree
    in the last two years in one of the following fields such as social
    sciences, Education or Development.
  • The intern shall use his/her own ICT equipment
  • Intern shall fund his/her own travel and living expenses.
  • Intern shall have proof of medical insurance covering time at the
    duty station.
  • Intern may travel without a signed travel authorization prior to the
    commencement of the journey to the duty station.
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN
    language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language
    is an asset.
