Job Summary:  The Sales Merchandiser is responsible for
running daily sales activities in the allocated market or supermarket and will
represent the company in the allocated market niche.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
Sales
in supermarkets:
 Apply best sales tactics in order to increase
sales volume, meet the set targets and increase market share.
·        
Payment
follow-ups:
Follows up and
ensures that all pending invoices are paid within agreed credit limit.
·        
Making
orders:
Make accurate and
timely orders in order to minimise stock outs.
·        
Goods
Displays:
Ensures all Tropical
Heat products are clean, neatly arranged and attractive. Also negotiate for
space in the supermarkets and retail outlets.
·        
FEFO; Enforces first Expiry first out system on
the shelves and in the supermarket stores in order to eliminate expiries
·        
Pricing; Follows up to ensure recommended retail
price is followed and all price tags are intact on their corresponding products
as well as monitoring competitor price comparisons.
·        
Monitoring
the Market and Competitors:

Collects and monitor competitor activities, Identify market opportunities,
monitor sales by compiling sales ratios and collect information to facilitate
management to make informed decisions as well as help venture in new markets.
·        
Sales
Reporting:
Compile accurate and
timely daily reports on stock levels, the market status, quality issues, damages,
short expiry or slow moving products to the supervisor.
·        
Promotion: Promotes all the products on behalf of the
company by use of the given product knowledge to create product awareness so as
to increase sales and beat market competition
·        
Damages: Minimizes damages in the allocated branch
and give timely report in case of any.
·        
Returns: Follows up on any returns and ensure
processing of authorized GRNS is done.
·        
Customer
complaints:
Records any
comments (positive or negative) from customers and report them to the sales
supervisor and follow up to ensure for action To handle any objections from the
customers.
·        
Stock
Monitoring:
Collects data to
monitor movement of our products and give timely report on any slow moving,
overstocked, short expired goods.
·        
Launching
of new products:
Engage in new
product launch and gives reports on their progress.
·        
Any
other duties as assigned by the supervisor.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
·        
The ideal
candidate must hold a diploma in business, marketing and sales or related field
of study.
·        
At least
three years of sales experience
·        
Desirable:
Exposure to Customer Relation Management (CRM).
