Job Summary:    The HRIS Officer will ensure that the Human
Resources Information Systems meet the needs of the users, makes changes,
recommends areas for review and adoption and handles vast amounts of data for
the HR department whilst maintaining confidentiality. This will be done using
Oracle, FMS, LMS, Taleo, Access Payroll system and any other systems as will be
communicated from time to time.
In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role
holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to
vary working hours accordingly.



Qualifications,
Skills and Experience: 
                    
The applicants for the Save the Children HRIS Officer
job placement must have two years of relevant working experience in HR.
                    
Demonstrated understanding and proficiency in
the field of Human Resources Management and ability to work under minimum
supervision.
                    
Fair understanding of national legal
requirements relating to HR, including labor laws and administrative law.
                    
Good understanding of employment related
statutory requirements, organizational policies, systems and procedures
formulation and management.
                    
Highly developed cultural awareness and ability
to work well in an international environment with people from diverse
backgrounds and cultures.
                    
Excellent planning, coordination and reporting
skills, with the ability to organize a substantial workload comprised of
complex, diverse tasks and responsibilities.
                    
Ability to intervene with crisis management or
troubleshooting as necessary.
                    
Highly developed interpersonal and communication
skills including influencing, negotiation and coaching
                    
Excellent documentation skills are a must.
                    
Excellent time management and planning capacity
