• Prepare and maintain audit schedules for initial certification,
  surveillance and re-certification evaluation of certification clients;
• Review and evaluate certification applications and reports
• Plan, prepare and conduct pre-certification and initial evaluation
  of customer’s products, services, production and production quality
  control processes at customer’s facility
• Conduct evaluation follow up & reporting on implementation of
  certification evaluation outcomes
• Prepare client files for submission to Evaluation Committee or
  Reviewers for certification approval
• Acquire market samples of certified products, submit to laboratory
  then analyze and interpret results to clients
• Provide technical support and guidance to all stakeholders in line
  with certification requirements.
• Prepare annual, quarterly and monthly budget, work plans and targets
  of all activities to be undertaken within the Division

• The ideal candidate should preferably hold a post graduate
  qualification in food or nutrition related field from a recognized
  University/Institution
• Possession of Honours degree in food science, nutrition and related
  fields from a recognized University/Institution
• Must have at least 5 years of prior experience in Standards, Quality
  Assurance, or quality control, Standards Development or Laboratory Testing
• Should have completed the approved competence development training
  in Certification
• Training in ISO 9001 is an added advantage
• Proven people leadership and functional management competencies with
  hands-on skills in Risk Management and internal controls in the functional
  areas
• Hands-on supervisory competencies with capacity to multi-task and
  deliver results efficiently with minimal supervision
• Age: Between 30
  and 45 years
