the commercial banking sector.
Job Summary:   The Head of Administration and Procurement
will provide strategic leadership for all administration and procurement
activities in accordance with the bank’s business objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Develop and implement the Administration and procurement department
  • Spearhead the preparation of the annual procurement plan as well as
    departmental budget.
  • Effective management departmental costs within approved budget.
  • Develop, monitor and review administration policies and procedures.
  • A key member of the procurement and contracts committee
  • Oversee the procurement activities in line with the approved bank
  • Manage service contracting and ensure compliance to SLAs
  • Effectively and efficiently manage vendor relations for better
  • Coordinate the annual performance evaluation of service providers.
  • Perform risk assessments for supply contracts and agreements.
  • Ensure effective facility management within agreed budgets.
  • Build and lead an effective and cohesive administrative team
  • Responsible for monitoring, and evaluating department and suppliers,
    staff performance.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement,
    Supply Chain Management, Administration or any other related discipline.
  • At least eight years of experience in logistics/ administration
  • CIPS is an added advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in Contractor management, Pre-qualification of suppliers
