and commercial clients. The SSS team offers a synergy of expertise in clinical
research services, epidemiology and public health studies, health data
management and analysis, and program evaluation and policy analysis. 
Job Summary:  The Accounts Clerk will support and maintain
the project’s IT systems operations. The overall purpose is to provide support
to the project finance team towards project implementation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Registration of invoices and claims received.
  • Review & verify contracts with suppliers/contractors.
  • Prepare Expenditure Authorisation forms after validation of
    invoices.
  • Process payments.
  • Computation & processing of cash advances to staff and
    Government officials.
  • Review accountability of cash advances from staff and Government
    officials.
  • Assist with preparation of quarterly VAT reports.
  • Assist with the preparation of WHT payments.
  • Assist with Bank account reconciliations.
  • Assist with data entry for the monthly financial report.
  • Photocopying, scanning, filing and archiving of financial documents.
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Finance &
    Compliance Specialist.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce or
    business related field or a qualification in accounting
  • Two years of experience in a finance department
  • Ability to pay attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to work with and support multidisciplinary teams
