Investment Limited operates hotels around Kampala and western Uganda. These
hotels are medium – large size in operations.

Job Summary: The House Keeper/ Room attendant will attend
to guest rooms.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Clean the guest rooms as per the hotel standard guidelines
Replace linen with clean ones, the bed sheets, towels and sanitary
sundries such as toilet paper, soap, spray and water.
Prepare the room for the next guest
Deliver used linen to the laundry for washing and ironing or used
utensils to the kitchen.
Report broken appliances for repair or blocked systems for fixing to
the respective technical persons such as the plumbers, technician, carpenter
etc. and follow it up to make sure it is done.
Spray the rooms with insecticides at 6pm and ensure windows or doors
are closed.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

The applicant must hold an O’ level certificate. Additional training in housekeeping/catering as an
added advantage.
At least two to three years in a similar job in a medium to large
size hotel is needed
