The Adventist
Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) is a humanitarian non-governmental
organization of the Seventh-day Adventist Church that demonstrates God’s love
and compassion. The organization works with people in poverty and distress to
create just and positive change through empowering partnerships and responsible
action. Currently the organization implements relief and development projects
in West Nile, Acholi, Karamoja and South-Western Uganda.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

The
ideal candidate for the Community Support Officer position should hold a
Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Community Psychology, Education;
Social Sciences; Business Management; Development Studies or any other relevant
degree.

A
minimum of three years of working experience in facilitating organizational
capacity assessments, implementing organizational development training and strategic
planning with civil society organizations, fundraising networking/linking for
small CSOs, technical training skills and hands-on experience in partnerships
and monitoring and evaluation – including data collection analysis and good
report writing.

communication skills; teamwork; ability to work under pressure and deliver on

Computer
literate and have a valid motorcycle riding permit.
