About ELA Program:
The BRAC Empowerment
& Livelihood for Adolescents (ELA) Program for adolescents is designed to
socially and economically empower teenage girls through providing safe spaces
for them to socialize and receive mentoring, life skills and financial
literacy.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Ensure proper implementation of all the project related activities
    at the field level; monitoring the key indicators of project
    implementation.
  • Monitor all training on life skills, financial literacy, livelihood
    and vocational as per project objectives.
  • Facilitate and follow – up community leader workshop, community
    meetings, mother’s forum and parents meeting.
  • Carry out necessary field trips and site visits to ensure effective
    implementation of the project activities.
  • Identify available market for products made by the Project
    beneficiaries.
  • Capacity building of staff as required through trainings, meetings
    and refreshers.
  • Develop and maintain good communication and relationship with the
    local authorities, management and other NGO’s.
  • Prepare, document and submit all relevant reports daily, weekly,
    monthly, quarterly and yearly reports and plans to project manager on all
    project implementation.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies,
    Social Sciences, gender studies or any other related subject. Masters in a
    relevant field is added advantage.
  • Three years’ experience in field level program implementation and
    community work operations.
  • Should have knowledge on Sexual Reproductive health, GBV & SVAC
  • Strong background on youth empowerment in vocational and life skills
  • Ability to work in challenging rural and urban field locations
  • Good computer skills in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Good networking skills with local leaders, district officials, other
    NGOs and related stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrated by the ability to lead
    and cooperation of others in a team.
