WFP has operations in various parts of the Country.
Job Summary:   The Business
Support Assistant (Fleet) will deliver standard business support processes for
a specific professional area of work, to facilitate effective service
delivery. 
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
Provide
support in the management of drivers and their scheduling and light vehicle
fleet inspection and management;
·        
Resolve
drivers’ issues, including the mechanical aspect of the vehicles, fuel, repair,
maintenance etc;
·        
Manage
the Fleet wave FMS (a WFP Fleet Management database) to optimise fleet
management through recording, monitoring/reporting and coordination with field
offices;
·        
Process
purchase requisitions and ensure timely payment to fleet related vendors;
·        
Generate
vehicle performance reports and data analyses and come up with /results-Oriented
solutions and recommendations;
·        
Facilitate
vehicle maintenance in garages to ensure comprehensive maintenance and repair
works at prices as per the contracts provisions;
·        
Assist
with routine unit activities;
·        
Perform
any other related assignment as required.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·        
The
ideal candidate for the United Nations UN World Food Programme (WFP) Business
Support Assistant (Fleet) job placement should hold a Diploma in any of the following
areas: General Administration, Public Administration, Fleet management or
related field;
·        
At least
three years of experience in a busy organisation performing administrative
functions preferably in fleet management;
·        
Experience
in managing specialised databases;
·        
Proficiency
in both oral and written English
·        
Proficiency
in using Microsoft Office Applications
