Baylor College of
Medicine Children’s Foundation -Uganda (Baylor-Uganda) is an indigenous
not-for-profit child health and development organisation affiliated to the
Baylor College of Medicine International Paediatric AIDS Initiative (BIPAI), a
Network of paediatric HIV/AIDS care and treatment Children’s Clinical Centres
of Excellence and international program offices in 11 countries across Africa,
Eastern Europe and North America.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Assist the field teams in proper data collection and reporting
  • Maintain an up-to-date project database
  • Assist in the preparation of project periodic reports
  • Support program teams to analyse and interpret data.
  • Participate in development of weekly, monthly, quarterly work plans
  • Monitor and track project implementation of project activities
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant for the Baylor Uganda Data Assistant job must hold a Diploma
    in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, Records
    Information Science and any other relevant qualification
  • Good computer skills and knowledge of Ms office applications (Ms
    Excel, Ms Word, Ms Power point, Ms Access)
  • Ability or willingness to ride a motorcycle and spend 80% of his/her
    time in field work.
