Joy for
Children-Uganda (JFCU) is a non-profit children’s rights organization
established in 2005 to respond to the plight of vulnerable children in Uganda.
Dedicated to working with children, families and communities to end injustice
to children. The organization has its head office in Kampala, field offices in
Kabarole district and another field office to be established in Lango sub
region . JFCU also hosts and coordinates Girls Not Brides Uganda, a National
Alliance to End Child Marriage with over 80 NGOs in the different parts of
Uganda to end child marriage. We are committed to protection of children and
the applicants that have a high track record of child protection will be considered.
About Project:
Joy for Children –
Uganda (JFCU) will be implementing a three -year project on mitigating social
risks associated with Gender –Based Violence (GBV) and Violence against
Children (VAC) in the districts of Lira, Oyam, Kole and Dokolo.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The Monitoring, Evaluation and Documentation Officer must hold a
    Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Statistics or Population Studies.
  • Postgraduate training in Monitoring and Evaluation is essential.
  • At least three years of experience in a similar position involving
    data collection, documentation and reporting
  • Previous exposure and experience in producing good quality documents
    for different audiences
  • Ability to collect, analyze and produce good quality data and
    information
