Job Summary: The
Photographer will document Watoto’s story through rich, meaningful photography.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

To
photograph and document required Watoto Ministries photo needs which include
but not limited to photos for weekly church services, special guest services,
photography for annual reports, daily social media posts, photo stories.

To draft
and submit photography plans to the Senior Producer for approval before
shooting and ensure that Team Leader checks all content is included before
submission.

To issue
contact sheets within 48 hours of photo shoot and select from every documented
event any photography job they are assigned.

To be
responsible for shooting and editing photos after selects are chosen from
contact sheets to enable the designers to work from TIFFs files 20”x27” @300.

regularly email with Senior Producer providing updates on consigned projects,
completed weekly assignment sheets and should stay up to date with other Watoto

mentor and coach apprentices in the art of photography and general production
to enable their professional growth in all areas of production and leadership

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

The
applicant for the Watoto Photographer job opportunity should hold a
Bachelor’s Degree in Mass communication, Journalism, media and any other
related degree. A bias in photography is an added advantage.

able to shoot, edit, assist in all aspects of photographic and video
communications with at least three years’ experience as a Photographer.

Ability
to use different types of photographic equipment with experience shooting in
manual mode and raw.

know and work well in Adobe Creative Suite. (Including but not limitted to
