Job Summary:    The Data Clerk supports the health program
by application of the health information system to ensure accurate and timely
reporting to donors, partners and internally within Save the Children. This
includes data entry, field based data verification, data quality control and assisting
the medical team leader in reporting. The role holder will be expected to work
outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant for the Save the Children Data Clerk job placement
    should have experience in Health Information Systems support to an NGO or
    equivalent (Ministry of Health NHIS) at health service delivery level
  • Excellent IT knowledge – specifically in excel
  • Experience of data management and analysis
  • Able to proactively identify and address issues
  • Strong communication skills, with good written and spoken English
  • Experience of establishing strong working relationships with
    colleagues from different functions and cultures
  • Experience of a flexible approach to managing and prioritising a
    high workload and multiple tasks in a fast paced environment with tight
    deadlines
  • Respects confidentiality and complies with data protection
    guidelines
  • Able to establish good working relationships and positively
    contribute to a team
  • Able to prioritise and plan, co-ordinate and monitor own and work of
    others
  • Concern for the wellbeing of children and interest in Child Rights
