Civil Society Organization Network (KCSON) is a registered NGO network
operating in Western Uganda. KCSON started in 2003 and focuses on capacity
building of CSOs, promoting effective governance in public service delivery
including natural resources governance, and empowerment of vulnerable groups of
people. KCSON’s current donors include CRS (for a USAID funded program), WWF (UCO),
IDI and members. KCSON is one of the CSO implementers of the USAID funded
Sustainable Outcomes for Children and Youth (SOCY) Project in Kibaale and
Kyenjojo, in partnership with ACODEV as an IP and Catholic Relief Services
(CRS) as the Prime. However KCSON has extended to district of Hoima and Ibanda
for implementation of the project activities.
Job Summary:  The Cluster Lead will be responsible for
ensuring strong supervision of field teams and overall coordination of
implementation of project intervention in the districts of operation. He/she
will supervise Linkages Coordinators and Social workers to ensure referrals,
Linkages and case management for OVC is effectively achieved in the districts
of operation. The cluster Lead will report to the Project Manager and will in
charge of two districts of operation.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work &
    Social Administration, 
    Development Studies, Community Psychology, Guidance and Counseling
    and any other related field
  • Possession of a post graduate will be an added advantage.
  • Five years of work experience in community/ social work particularly
    on OVC and/ or HIVAIDS donor-funded projects;
  • Ability to manage community volunteers and experience in working
    with rural communities;
  • Ability to multi task and work under pressure to deliver results;
  • She/he should have computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and
    PowerPoint, data entry
  • Demonstrable good communication skills in both
    English and Local Language
