headquarters, a Protos team manages our development program and projects in the
Great Lake Region (Uganda, DRC, Burundi). Expatriate staff together with local
colleagues carry out the follow-up of projects, capacity building, networking
and advocacy.
Job Summary: The
Office Assistant / Secretary will have the responsibility to support the
administration, logistics and finances of our regional headquarters in Kampala
under supervision of the Program Assistant – Finance, Logistics and
Administration. The work will be organized mainly from Kampala office (Muyenga
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
The Office
Assistant / Secretary will provide day to day support in the organization of
the admin, finance and logistical department
Tasked with
regular communication on progress of the different tasks towards the Program
Assistant – Finance, Logistics and Administration
In charge
of printing, copying, scanning, filing of documents and setting up –
safeguarding an archive/filing system;
other tasks relating to financial and logistical issues to assure the good
functioning of the office and its planned activities.
Follow –
up and support of the management of office equipment (Inventory) and vehicles;
in the control of the financial reports of the partners including evaluation of
the submitted justifications.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The Protos
Office Assistant / Secretary should hold a relevant degree in the field of
finance and administration.
At least
two years of relevant experience.
As the
regional Headquarter is also in charge of activities in Burundi and DRC,
priority will be given to candidates with knowledge of French. If applicable,
please describe your level of French in your CV.
knowledge of Microsoft office.
honest, precise and autonomous;
demonstrating a professional attitude and reliability
attitude towards new working methods;
and able of working under time pressure;
Good planning
and organization – communication skills;
