Organization (Insurance), Case Medcare as well as a couple of other subsidiary
and affiliate medical service providers. It Facility was established in 1995 by
an indigenous Ugandan as a small Clinic on Bombo Road but has since grown to a
quality one-stop medical Centre providing first rate health care services in a
competent and caring environment.
Job Summary:  The Human Resource Manager will mainly
contribute to the strategic objectives of Case Medical Centre by providing the
human capital, HR policies, processes and systems that enable high performance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Performance management – deliver
    performance management programs that drive a high-performance culture.
  • Recruitment and selection – direct and
    manage the recruitment and selection process, and train line managers in
    interviewing and assessment procedures.
  • Learning and development – implement and
    monitor effectiveness of training programs.
  • Human resources policy – develop,
    implement and maintain human resources policies across the organization,
    including training programs to educate and promote awareness of regulatory
    compliance.
  • Reporting and management of human
    resources metrics – produce reports on key metrics, including remuneration
    and benefits, absenteeism and turnover.
  • Leadership – mentor direct reports and
    provide coaching to help them reach their potential.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The Human Resource Manager must hold
    Degree in Business Administration, Organizational / Industrial Psychology
    or closely related field and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource
    Management. Professional HR qualification gives an added advantage.
  • Five years of progressive Human Resource
    Management and Strategic Leadership experience; five of which should have
    been in a senior management position
  • Solid HR generalist knowledge and
    experience as well as specialist knowledge and experience in policy
    design, compensation and benefits management, change management, training
    and competence development, performance management and talent management
    processes
  • Knowledge and experience in strategic
    workforce planning
  • Solid leadership skills
  • Thorough understanding of compensation
    management and retention issues
  • Skilled in employee evaluations and
    appraisals
  • Skilled in design of employee training
    and development strategies
  • Clear and effective communication and
    coaching skills
  • Planning and organizing skills
  • Innovativeness and flexibility
  • People management skills – ability to
    gain leadership and employees trust while influencing positive
    organizational outcomes
  • Strong problem-solving skills
