are recruiting for a valuable client in the Oil & Gas industry.
Job Summary:     UnitedHealthcare Global are currently
inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced local national
nurses who are currently residing in Uganda to support an ongoing land based
project which will take place in the South of Uganda. Applicants should have a
General Nursing degree with additional training in emergency – ILS, ACLS,
PHTLS. The successful candidates will be responsible for the health and medical
welfare of site personnel, managing primary health care and emergency medical
response including the management of aero emergency medical evacuations.
Additional duties may include delivering first aid training; health and fitness
initiatives, including dietary awareness, sexual health and smoking cessation programmes;
health and safety responsibilities, including risk assessment, health and
hygiene audits, safety induction training and providing support to the HSE
advisor.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicants for the Nurse jobs must be registered professionals
    with current licences to practice.
  • Certificates in both cardiac and trauma life support is desirable.
  • Previous experience with previous remote site/oil and gas projects
    is preferred
  • Strong English language skills
  • The applicants must hold current professional registration
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Computer literacy skills.
  • Have a good level of health and fitness.
  • Experience of working in remote site locations is advantageous.
