medicines, fortified foods, water filters, clean cook stoves, and solar lights.
Job Summary: The Senior Manager,
Human Resources Business Partner will help us keep our great people. The incumbent
will also provide counsel on thorny personnel issues.  Promote a fun and inclusive workplace. Create

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • Develop
    strategy.
      We need you to translate business goals
    into a people strategy for Uganda. 
    Working with managers, you will forecast the number and type of
    staff Living Goods needs in Uganda. You will adapt global policies to the
    local context.
  • Build

      Working with the Uganda
    leadership teams, you will champion our organizational culture in Uganda, striving

    .  You will guide managers on how to

  • Make
    sure we play by the rules.  You will
    serve as the chief human resources compliance officer in Uganda.  You will oversee internal and external
    audits and ensure reporting to relevant audiences.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    ideal candidate for the Living Goods Senior Manager, Human Resources
    Business Partner job placement should have eight years of human resources
    experience in Uganda.  Your
    experience is in a variety of areas, such as employee relations,
    compensation and benefits, engagement, career development and performance
    management.  You have a basic
    understanding of Uganda’s employment law and a relevant bachelor’s degree
    or higher.
  • Leadership
    skills.  You have a track record of
    leading human resources initiatives and of managing change in a growing
    environment.  Your knowledge and
    gravitas makes you a trusted partner to senior managers.
  • Global
    organization experience.  You have
    experience in an international company or NGO
    .
  • Customer
    service skills.  Like the acronym
