and Kenya mainly dealing in Batteries, Home Appliances, LED Lighting, Personal
care and White Goods products.
Job Summary: The
Distribution and Agent Coordinator will oversee and facilitate the supply chain
operations of our company. He/she will be the one to coordinate personnel and
processes to achieve the effective distribution of goods thus maximize revenue.
The ideal candidate should have great record-keeping abilities and a
customer-oriented approach.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
        
Establishes new accounts by planning and
organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets
and other trade factors.
        
As a key management team member, the
Distribution Manager will also be required to implement the company’s strategic
plan as well as contribute to and be involved in the evaluation and analysis of
the business objectives.
        
Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and
potential volume of dealers.
        
Submits orders by referring to price lists and
product literature.
        
Keeps management informed by submitting activity
and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly
and annual territory analyses.
        
Monitors competition by gathering current
marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules,
merchandising techniques, etc.
        
Resolves customer complaints by investigating
problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to
management.
        
Responsible for the monitoring and management of
stock levels, delivery times and transportation costs.
        
The Distribution Manager is usually client
facing and therefore excellent customer service skills are needed as well as
the ability to source suppliers and negotiate rates that are favorable and in
line with the company’s budget and targets.
        
Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track
sales and status reports.
        
Establish, develop and maintain positive
business and customer relationships.
        
Update management with reports on customer
needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new
products and services
        
Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers
etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
        
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing
related results as needed.



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
        
The ideal candidate for Distribution and Agent
Coordinator Position must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration,
Commerce, majoring in Marketing, Supply Chain Management or its equivalent from
a reputable organization.
        
Strong Customer facing experience in modern
trade environment and proven track record. People management capabilities is a
must
        
Possess a positive attitude, excellent
communication, professionalism, high level of integrity and confidentiality,
ability to work extra hours, self-driven, flexible, results focused, work under
pressure with minimum supervision.
        
Computer literacy skills i.e. proficiency in
Word, Excel, Power-point, MS Project
        
High cognitive ability.
