Job Summary: The Driver will

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Ferry the company’s products in a timely
manner to facilitate sales activities through distribution - Keep safe custody of the company vehicles
and products during transportation in line with regulatory standards - Perform daily vehicle safety and
maintenance checks on fuel, water and oil to ensure the assigned vehicle
is in good working conditions - Inspect the vehicle to ensure good working
conditions of breaks, lights, mirrors and other vehicle parts - Follow up on vehicle needs such as
license, renewals and vehicle servicing to ensure smooth flow of transport
operations - Report any misconduct and unacceptable
behaviors of sales representatives especially on suspected cases of fraud - Report all road accidents and field
breakdowns immediately to ensure security and continuity of transport
activities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Movit Products
Limited Driver job placement should hold a Uganda Certificate of Education
(UCE) or its equivalent; - A clean driving permit with 3 classes,
including Heavy commercial and public service vehicles; - A minimum of five years of continuous
accident free driving in a busy Product Selling - Company;
- Certificate of good conduct;
- Excellent knowledge of motor vehicle
repair; - The applicant must be proficient in written
and spoken English.
