post-conflict populations specifically to refugees and host populations.
Through its clinic and community-based programming, PCAF brings novel
approaches to treatment of tens of thousands of patients each year. Working closely
with government and other partners in mental health PCAF is positioning itself
to increase its impact through building community-based mental health treatment
and other models of care.
Clinical Officer will be responsible for clerking, diagnosing and mental health
management (pharmacological and psychosocial) of beneficiaries at the hospital
and community sites. He (She) will treat patients with mental illness; ensure
maximum protection of human rights of patients, relatives and staff;
participate in community-based mental health activities and ensure communities
are sensitized about mental health and mental neurological and substance use
(MNS) disorders.
Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Diploma in
Clinical Psychiatry - Two years of experience
- Proficiency in the local language and Juba
Arabic is an added advantage.
