Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Source and Select Candidates
  • Use
    existent channels to advertise and attract candidates
  • Develop
    new channels to attract candidates
  • Shortlist
    for the Jobs allocated using the JD criteria and matching skills required
    to
  • Administer
    tests wherever appropriate
Communication
  • Write
    to or call candidates inviting them for interviews
  • Give
    feedback to both successful and unsuccessful candidates
  • Keep
    the client updated on the status of the process
  • Follow
    up clients on their payments etc.
  • Answer/respond
    to phone calls in a professional manner
  • Respond
    to emails professionally on the general company email address.
Candidate Verification:
  • Verify
    shortlisted candidates’ credentials i.e Tertiary institution certificates,
    professional qualifications
  • Do
    some reference checking from previous employers
Website, Database and Social
Media Account Management
  • Ensure
    the website has relevant content, is functional and updated
  • Ensure
    all platforms (Social media, etc) are up to date and engaging for brand
    visibility
  • Attract
    candidates to register with our database
  • Liaise
    with outsourced service providers to ensure smooth operations of the same
Administration
  • Ensure
    the office is clean and tidy at all times
  • Manage
    petty cash on an imprest system
  • Pick
    and bank cheques or money from Clients
  • Issue
    receipts and complete payment vouchers
  • Do
    Basic Accounts
  • Take
    charge of the filing
  • Coordinate
    logistics for training sessions
  • Follow
    up suppliers
  • Administer
    tests for candidates wherever relevant
  • Complete
    timesheet on a regular basis
Others: Perform any other duties assigned



Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma from an
    accredited university
  • The
    applicant should have knowledge of the Labor laws of Uganda and East
    Africa
  • Accounting
    software use i.e. Tally or Quick-books
  • Excellent
    phone skills
