Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The
Trade Information Executive (Products) will also verify, and
certify exporters documentation - Operate modern trade information management
systems - The incumbent will operate and maintain
databanks on all registered exporters and potential exporters - Operate and maintain a statistical information
system capable of regular
export data capture, collation analysis, storage and retrieval - Conduct outreach programmes and services to
associations of producers, manufacturers, exporters and other identifiable groupings
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ideal candidate for the Uganda Export Promotions Board (UEPB) Trade
Information Executive (Products) job opportunity must be a Ugandan who
holds an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following: Marketing,
International Business, International Trade, Economics, Commerce
Agriculture, Logistics Management or IT related courses from a recognized
degree awarding University or Institution. - A
minimum of three years’ experience in a similar position in a reputable organization.
Private sector experience is added advantage. - Good data capture, collation analysis, storage
and retrieval skills - Knowledge of trade information management systems
- Knowledge of international trade.
- Broad knowledge of intellectual property and
branding.
