About US:
African Initiatives for Relief
and Development (AIRD) is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and
non-profit international organization whose objective is to provide operational
support but not limited to: supply chain, logistics, construction,
infrastructure, environment, livelihoods and WASH in partnership with relief
and development organizations which primarily focus on disaster-affected and
development-orientation areas.
Job Summary: The M&E
Assistants will be supporting the M&E officers to assess all AIRD field
activities and making sure ongoing works are as per the AIRD policies and
procedures and donor requirements.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    applicant for the AIRD M&E Assistant job should hold a Bachelor’s
    Degree in Social sciences, community development or any other related
    course with M&E as a major
  • Extensive
    knowledge and understanding of project monitoring and evaluation
  • At
    least two years experience in project management
  • Understanding
    of the current M&E trends and especially M&E systems in NGO’s
  • Proven
    work experience as a team leader or supervisor
  • In-depth
    knowledge of performance metrics
  • Excellent
    communication and leadership skills
  • Organizational
    and time-management skills
  • Decision-making
    skills
  • Good
    computer Skills
