African Initiatives for Relief
and Development (AIRD) is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and
non-profit international organization whose objective is to provide operational
support but not limited to: supply chain, logistics, construction, infrastructure,
environment, livelihoods and WASH in partnership with relief and development
organizations which primarily focus on disaster-affected and
development-orientation areas.
Job Summary: The
Administrative Officer will perform administrative and office support
activities. The jobholder will be relieving the supervisor of administrative
roles and maintaining regular and transparent communication with Admin/ Finance
Manager in a spirit of shared successes and joint problem solving



Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    applicant for the AIRD Administrative Officer job must hold a Bachelor’s
    degree in Management, Business Administration or any related course
  • Three
    or more years of previous experience in similar position preferably in an
    NGO setting
  • Strong
    interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High
    level of honesty and Integrity.
  • Advanced
    computer skills in Ms word, Excel, PowerPoint presentation
  • Ability
    to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
  • Willingness
    to work in any part of the country.
