Job Summary: The Senior
Manager Human Resource Development will develop, plan, coordinate, monitor the
implementation and evaluate Training & Development and performance
management Programs of the Bank in line with the HR Policy, the Budget
provisions and the business strategy.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Plan
    and Coordinate the identification and analysis of training and development
    needs of bank employees in line with the bank’s business plan
  • Design
    training programs to meet the identified needs in line with training guidelines,
    Business plan and budget
  • Coordinate
    periodic skills audits and generate analytical HR reports for Bank staff
    in line with HR policy and the Banks business plan
  • Generate
    annual corporate training plan and budget, in liaison with heads of
    department in line with identified training needs, budget allocation and
    Training Policy
  • Coordinate
    implementation, monitor and evaluate the training program against the
    individual, departmental & bank needs in line with the approved
    Corporate Training & Development Plan
  • Develop
    and review the structured training curriculum for the Bank, design
    fundable training solutions in line with identified training needs,
    training guidelines and strategic objectives of the bank
  • Engage
    departments and review Bank processes, and propose structural
    interventions to enable sustainable performance realisation of
    productivity thresholds in line with the Bank’s Strategic plan and the HR
    Policies and procedures
  • Coordinate
    the development/review of the performance management instruments (i.e.
    role, competence profiles, performance agreements, Performance Improvement
    Plans and performance score cards) in line with the PM guidelines and the
    Bank’s strategy
  • Develop,
    review and monitor the implementation of th e Bank’s and talent development/succession
    planning programmes in line with the talent management framework.
  • Coordinate
    the implementation of HR Information Management System reviews, in line
    with HR strategic objectives
  • Review
    and evaluate performance and development of subordinate staff in line with
    the performance management guidelines.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience:                                                    
  • The
    ideal candidate for the Housing Finance Bank Senior Manager Human Resource
    Development job opportunity must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human
    Resources Management, Organisational and industrial psychology or related
    field
  • A
    Master’s Degree in Organisational Psychology, HRM, Business Psychology or
    MBA HR is added advantage
  • At
    least seven years’ experience in HR
  • Extensive
    knowledge in Talent Management and emerging HR trends
  • Good
    exposure in best practices in Performance Management
  • Excellent
