registered in Uganda as BRAC Uganda. The organization implements integrated
development approach combining Education, Health, Agriculture, Livestock,
Adolescent Empowerment and Microfinance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform
    activities pertaining to the operational management, supportive
    supervision & coordination of program activities with in the region.
  • Provide
    mentorship, coaching & necessary support to the Area Health
    coordinators, Project Assistants and CHPs to resolve issues and take
    administrative actions accordingly.
  • The
    incumbent will ensure proper implementation of the program activities
    through monitoring of the key indicators of implementation and submit
    necessafy reports to the program manager.
  • Ensure
    uptake of mobile application by all CHPs in the region, timely reporting
    by the AHC & PAH
  • Support
    the health team & program manager as needed with donor visits, staff
    trainings & stakeholder liaisons especially with local government
  • Conduct
    necessary field visits to ensure effective program implementation.
  • Strongly
    practice and maintain (uphold/conduct) organizational values & health
    ethical values objectivity in all activities and ensure other team members
    are adhering to it through their activities



Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    applicant for the Bachelor’s degree in health related fields (preferred
    field Nursing, Public health and Clinical Medicine).
  • At
    least two to three years of health-related experience in direct Community
    Health work is a plus.
  • Ability
    to liaise with stakeholders and especially government (district, health
    center and local level officials)
  • Ability
    to ably speak the local languages in the above locations is added
    advantage.
  • Should
    possess good interpersonal, supervisory and mentorship skills to mobilize
    & inspire trust among team members as well as the community to drive
    performances on health and sales
  • Good
    communication skills, computer skills (MS office proficiency)
  • Good
    report writing planning and analytical skills are a must
