Job Summary: The Financial
Administrator is responsible for all office financial transactions entry and
analysis at country level
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·        
Compliance
with ICCO’s Financial & Administration Manuals such as Procurement
policy, Travel policy & Authorization procedures.
·        
The Financial
Administrator will ensure
ICCO-Cooperation complies with all the country statutory laws and regulations
such as tax regulations like PAYE, NSSF and other regulations
·        
Tasked
with the verification and certification of accurate transactions in
accordance with the standard guidelines
·        
Manage
all bank accounts and accuracy of bank reconciliation statements on a monthly
basis.
·        
Carry
out reconciliations, following up on any reconciling items, and processing changes
to bank accounts
·        
Receipt
of staff accountabilities like travel accountabilities, entry in the system and
reconciliation on a monthly basis
·        
Responsible
for payroll administration including timely salary processing, statutory
deductions and remittance to URA and NSSF, on a monthly basis, before
they are entered in the system.
·        
Responsible
for booking financial expenditures in the system and compiling monthly
expenditure reports, analyze the reports and present it to the FOAM for
discussion
·        
Tasked
with compiling the monthly liquidity requests & cash flow
projections/forecast on a monthly basis for review and approval by FOAM and
financial controller before sending to global office.
·        
Facilitating
both internal and external audits and the preparation of financial
statements for auditors both office and donor audits.
·        
Effective
and efficient petty – cash management in line with ICCO guidelines
·        
Implement
and maintain an effective filing system to ensure that all financial records
are easily accessible and readily available.

Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
·        
The
ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
and stage 2 of professional qualifications in ACCA, CIMA,CPA or their
equivalent
·        
Two
or more years of related experience in a similar position with International
NGO’s.
·        
Excellent
computer skill (MS Office package) and other web based accounting
systems.
·        
Strong
financial background with knowledge of different funding modalities
·        
Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills, including intercultural communication
·        
Excellent
language skills in English
·        
Stress
management and ability to multitask
·        
Analytical
and problem solving skills
·        
A
good team player
