anticipating to implementing a new USAID/Uganda activity.
Job Summary: The
Collaboration and Outreach Assistant will support learning, communications, and
knowledge management activities on this mission-support contract. We seek
innovation and highly motivated individuals to work on our team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support collaborating, learning, and
    adapting (CLA) activities among USAID, implementing partners, and other
    Ugandan stakeholders
  • Support the Learning team in facilitating
    trainings
  • The jobholder will also finalize reports and
    format content for learning events, e.g., webinars, PowerPoint, workshops,
    etc.
  • Strengthen and add value to existing
    practices and processes
  • Support other tasks as the Learning team
    requests



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:  
  • The ideal candidate must hold a bachelor’s
    degree or higher in communication, journalism, international development,
    or a related field
  • At least three years of experience in
    communication, training and facilitation, and/or project coordination,
    preferably in health sector
  • Prior experience in working with USAID
    preferred
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal
    skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
