Bushenyi Medical Center (BMC) is a Private Not For Profit (PNFP) health
facility located along Mbarara-Kasese highway in Bushenyi-lshaka Municipality.
BMC was established in May 1998 with a Mission: “To provide affordable, high
quality, reliable and sustainable healthcare services to rural and often hard
to reach population”; Vision: “First Choice Health Care Provider in the
Region” and Core Values of: 1) Sustainable Low Cost Good Quality Health Care,
2) Integrity, Transparency and Accountability 3) Fairness and Empathy, 4)
Equality 5) Professionalism and Commitment and 6) Responsibility. BMC provides
a wide range of medical care and diagnostic services. In addition BMC has been
implementing many programs with Government of Uganda as well as Development
partners including United States Government, United Kingdom (DFID), Global Fund
and World Bank among others. Recently BMC received a grant under the
USAID/EGPAF/ RHITES SW Project for HIV Care, Prevention &Treatment, Malaria
/TB diagnosis, Prevention & Treatment as well as FP & MNCAH in the
Districts of Bushenyi, Mitooma, Rubirizi & surrounding areas.
Job Summary: The Human
Resource Officer will ensure mobilization of staffs for work. He/she will work
with the Clinic Manager &the Medical Director to generate plans that will
lead to reaching & achieving targets for HIV prevention & Care
Services. He / She will also be responsible for setting up, supervising,
coordinating & overseeing the work schedules & employee safety &
benefits.



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
·        
The applicant should preferably hold a
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource or Management Sciences from a reputable
institution or a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration with Post Graduate
Training in Human Resource.
·        
One year of experience in a management or
administrative position.
·        
Training in Hospital or Health services
Management and/or Previous Experience in a health facility is an added advantage.
·        
Broad knowledge and understanding of employee
policies in HIV care settings
·        
Excellent communication, public relations,
teamwork and report writing skills
·        
Good computer skills with proficiency in
Microsoft Office and e-communication is a MUST.
·        
Keen attention to detail
