About the UPLIFT Project:
The UPLIFT Youth Livelihood project is an Urban Youth empowerment
project that aims at contributing towards improving the economic wellbeing of
vulnerable 5,000 youths aged 16-30 years in Kawempe, Nakawa and Makindye
divisions of Kampala district. The Project will run from 2017 to 2022.
Job Summary: The Project
Manager- UPLIFT Project will be responsible for strategic project leadership,
external engagement, programme development, reporting and overall project
management of UPLIFT Youth Livelihood project. The incumbent is also responsible
for continuous project staff capacity building and day today support to project
officers and other project staff.





Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
  • The ideal candidate for the World Vision Project
    Manager- UPLIFT Project job opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s degree
    from a recognized university in Humanities such as development studies,
    social & social administration, sociology, education and economics etc
    with a post graduate diploma in project planning and management.
  • Possession of Master’s degree in Project
    planning and management is an added advantage.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience and
    knowledge in Youth Livelihood programming in urban context and related
    technical models.
