Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- The Project Assistant – Livelihoods will
primarily monitor and report on the project activities and ensure
compliance with plans and NRC standards - Work closely with the community Food
Security/Livelihoods Working Groups in the planning and enrollment of the
activities - Suggest new methods and approaches in
order to improve the quality of the activities - Report all protection related concerns
- Collect data as required
- Prepare and submit field reports
- Prepare and file relevant documents as
required by line manager
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The applicant for the Norwegian Refugee
Council (NRC) Project Assistant – Livelihoods job opportunity should hold
a Bachelors degree in social work/social sciences, development studies,
agriculture or related qualification - A minimum of two years’ experience from
working with Food Security/Livelihood projects in a humanitarian/recovery
context - Previous experience from working in
complex and volatile contexts - Documented results related to the
position’s responsibilities - Some knowledge of English
- Personal Qualities: Planning
and delivering results, Coping with change , Working with people ,
Handling insecure environments
