Medecins Sans Frontieres Switzerland (MSF-CH) is an international,
independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to
people affected by armed conflict, natural disasters and exclusion from
healthcare.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
  • Ensure a correct implementation of MSF CH
    standards (policies, procedures and tools)
  • The incumbent will support the line
    manager in the assigned tasks.
  • Regularly monitor the service/ unit under
    his/her responsibility, manages and follows up his/her team.
  • Ensure responsibility for all logistics
    activities on Suka Office and other facilities.
  • Ensure the necessary logistical supply on
    the all the facilities.
  • Manage and logistically monitor the
    material resources of the mission (Marmotta), under the supervision of the
    hierarchical and technical referents.
  • Provide support activities (communication
    and transportation).
  • Ensure the other necessary logistical
    activities (maintenance and rehabilitation necessary) for the improvement
    of living conditions on the facilities.
  • Directly manages the team under his / her
    responsibility.
  • Strengthen the capacity of each member of
    the team under his / her responsibility.



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The applicant for the MSF Technique &
    Logistics Base career placement should have completed secondary education
    with Basic Training in a technical field.
  • One year of experience in logistics
    department.
  • Ability to learn quickly and to work in a
    multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment, good communication
    skills, initiative, good physical condition, smart appearance,
  • Language: Fluency in English and
    Luganda, etc
