Job Summary: The Manager,
Department of Planning, Investment and Resource Mobilisation is responsible for
providing guidance to the strategic planning and development of the University.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Initiate and coordinate the preparation
and production of long and short term corporate plans - Set budget priorities and assess the
budget proposals for their coherence with the strategic goals of the
University - Generate planning data/information/reports
to support decision making by University Management - The incumbent will ensure that the
University has a comprehensive and coherent resource mobilization strategy - Ensure that the University’s academic
units adhere to enrolment ceilings - Initiate and coordinate organizational
development activities - Ensure effective implementation of the
University programs and projects - Ensure that the University has a national
and international marketing strategy - Ensure that the University undertakes
performance reporting to her stakeholders on time - Ensure that information flowing in from
all administrative units is collate, processed, stored and redistributed
to management in a form that guides quick decision making - Ensure that diagnostic studies are
regularly carried out to enable the University have a picture of her
internal and external efficiency and the level of access to her services
and products - Ensure that the implementation of Donor
funded projects is effectively coordinated - Keenly monitor the implementation of
University programs to ensure that programs/projects are implemented
according to plan - Work closely with key Government
Authorities and Agencies to ensure proper execution of the University
mandate in relation to the national development agenda - Supervise and coach subordinates in the
department - Perform any other duties assigned by the
University Bursar
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a Master’s
degree in Business Administration or in any of the following fields:
Economics, Commerce or Statistics - At least eight years of working
experience, four of which should be at senior level in a reputable
Organisation. - Computer literacy skills
- Excellent analytical ability
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Very good tactical and strategic planning
skills - Ability to organize, including time
management skills and the ability to complete tasks efficiently - Proficient oral and written communication
skills - Team building and conflict management
skills - Leadership skills
- Age: Below 50 years
