Mildmay Uganda is a faith- based local Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) offering Comprehensive HIV Care & treatment, Training, Research & General Medical Services; also providing Health Systems Strengthening to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services in 16 districts of Central Uganda.
Job Summary: The Data
Validation Officer will support the clinicians in safeguarding data quality by
taking a lead in developing data validation rules, identifying frequent user
errors, and working with all clinicians to strengthen documentation and user
competence.

Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Mildmay Data
Validation Officer job opportunity must hold a Diploma in Clinical
Medicine or Registered Nurse, with a valid practicing licence. - At least three years of post internship
experience in implementing quality assurance/improvement in HIV/AIDS
health care or related field. - Familiarity with data analysis packages
like SPSS, STATA, Epi-Info (including analysis in MS Excel), have
knowledge in use of Relational Data Management systems including MoH HMIS
tools, DHIS2. - Excellent communication (oral and written)
skills - Good teaching/presentation skills;
- Highly analytical and good decision making
skills; - Good problem solving skills;
- Computer literacy skills i.e. proficiency
in various MS office packages. - Show commitment to quality and excellence,
and holding the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality. - Highly flexible and reliable
- Evidence of a non-judgemental approach
regarding race, religion, culture, sexuality and lifestyle is critical. - The ideal applicant should uphold the
