Responsibilities:
- Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting
records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess
accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural
standards. - Compute taxes owed and prepare tax
returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax
requirements. - Keenly analyse business operations,
trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to
projects future revenues and expenses or to provide advice. - Report to the Group CFO and the Country
manager, the regarding the finances of the company. - Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets,
preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
Develop, implement, modify, and document record keeping and accounting
systems, making use of current computer technology in consultation with
the Group CFO. - Survey operations to ascertain accounting
needs and to recommend, develop, and maintain solutions to business and
financial problems. - Guide
management about issues such as resource utilization, tax
strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts. - Manage company’s; debtors and creditors
and reporting to the country manager (or person in such acting capacity)
and the Group CFO. Appraise, evaluate, and inventory assets and equipment,
recording information such as the asset’s description, value, and
location. Interact with internal and external auditors in completing
audits. - Maintain an elaborate filling system for
accounting documents: Bank statements, Petty cash vouchers, LPO, invoices,
Delivery notes, credit notes and all other accounting documents Other
duties as assigned

Experience:
- The ideal candidate should hold a B.Com,
or BBA (Accounting & Finance); and ACCA, CPA level two as an added
advantage; - A minimum of two years of related working
experience - Familiarity with electronic accounting
software/ systems/databases;
