Job Summary: The Schedule
Control Engineer will be responsible for the Engineering Schedule development
and maintaining, and to coordinate the interfaces between Engineering,
Procurement and the Other Parties of the Overall Integration Schedule.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
  • Execute all planning management aspects of
    the project.
  • Ensures the correctness of the engineering
    schedule as defined by SOW distributed by PMT.
  • Maintain the progress of Engineering Schedule
    and Coordinate the interface between Engineering and related disciplines.
  • In charge of Project Execution Plan
    development and all related Project Control Strategies & Procedures
    under the requirement.
  • Responsible for periodic progress reports
    on the Project Controls to PMT and responsible for the periodic reporting
    to Host Government, Partners and CNOOC as well as certain reporting,
    analysis under PMT requirement.
  • Prepare and maintain annual plans
    submitted for annual work programs.
  • Offer support to the facilities risk
    migration and contingency planning process.
  • Support internal partners’ project plan
    reviews and approvals processes.
  • Provide necessary schedule information to
    set up the cost estimate and to control the cost.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by
    Supervisors
     
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
  • The ideal candidate for the CNOOC Schedule
    Control Engineer job placement should hold a Bachelor’s degree or above in
    Engineering, chemical engineering, industrial engineering or the related
  • At least two years’ experience of oil
    & gas project design, procurement, and fabrication.
  • Prior planning control and international
    working experience is preferred.
  • Broad knowledge and background in oil
    & gas facilities-related design, fabrication installation, hook-up and
    commissioning support.
  • Extensive knowledge of all relevant
    planning controls area and software i.e. MS Project, Oracle Primavera
    & Excel.
