organisation affiliated to the Baylor College of Medicine International
Paediatric AIDS Initiative (BIPAI), a Network of paediatric HIV/AIDS care and
treatment Children’s Clinical Centres of Excellence and international program
offices in 11 countries across Africa, Eastern Europe and North America.
Job Summary: The Regional HR
Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring the implementation of Baylor
Uganda Human Resource systems and practices in the Rwenzori region in line with
the Baylor Uganda HR Manual and the various program objectives
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • The Regional HR Coordinator develops and
    monitors the implementation of HR regional plan and budget
  • The incumbent will monitor the
    implementation of Performance Management system
  • Keenly monitor the recruitment &
    selection process as well as implementing the induction and placement
  • Regularly review and implement the Baylor
    Uganda Staff training & development strategy
  • The incumbent will design, maintain and
    update an HR regional database and manage the clock in & out time
    system in alignment to the leave and out of office information in the
    region
  • Keenly review and monitor the
    implementation of employee relations, Health and safety, leave management
    and welfare procedures
  • The incumbent will develop and maintain
    partnerships with the district personnel stakeholders
  • Carry out periodic Talent audits and
    develop succession plans
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports in
    regard to the regional human resource management issues
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The
    applicant must hold a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management
    or Industrial/Organizational Psychology or MBA (Human Resource) or a
    Degree in Human Resource management or Industrial/Organizational
    Psychology with a relevant post graduate qualification.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in
    managing a corporate function, performance driven programs, managing the
    change process with a reputable NGO.

    skills

  • Highly persuasive and convincing
  • Self-motivated and able to demonstrate
    high initiative.
