Job Summary: The Logistics
Clerk will support the Warehouse Supervisor with daily activities such as
stocking, picking and movement of materials and equipment, conduct cyclic and
wall to wall inventories, reconciliation of inventory discrepancies. The job
holder will also monitor shelf life and hazardous material. Operate warehouse
type forklift and or box truck to move and store materials and equipment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Keep
    the inventory storage areas and other storage facilities clean and
    organized.
  • Store,
    tag, identify and provide the necessary environmental and physical
    protection for all of the company’s inventory assets.
  • Segregate
    serviceable and unserviceable parts per company policies.
  • Identify
    shelf life if applicable, tag and prepare for storage of all incoming
    materials.
  • Perform
    and document monthly shelf life inspections.
  • Retain
    and file Purchase Orders and parts traceability forms.
  • Provide
    proper storage of flammable items.
  • Carry
    out inventory of spare parts and help to determine appropriate inventory
    levels.
  • Assemble
    kits for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Actively
    participate as needed in the Quality and Safety Audit program.
  • Maintain
    and file all MSDS information prior to making any materials available to
    maintenance personnel.
  • Issue
    all parts to maintenance personnel and update computerized inventory
    records.
  • Issue
    company tools and ensure that all tooling is returned at the end of each
    shift.
  • Conduct
    cyclic and wall to wall inventories in accordance with set procedures.
  • Support
    the Warehouse Supervisor in the reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist
    Purchasing department and Stock Analyst in verifying stock on hand stock.
  • Support
    in the shipping and receiving of stock and equipment as needed.
  • Operate
    warehouse type forklift and or box truck.
  • Deliver
    parts and equipment to local vendors and maintenance facilities.
  • Perform
    other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    applicant should hold a High School diploma or GED. Associates degree from
    an accredited university or college will be preferred
  • At
    least five (5) years of previous supply/logistics experience.
  • At
    least two (2) years’ experience with 6K – 10K Forklift Operator.
  • Professional
    who applies acquired job skills, policies, and procedures to complete task
    of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Exercises
    judgment within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate
    action.
  • Ability
    to acquire a company-issued forklift license.
  • Proficiency
    in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) is preferred
  • Past
    experience with Win Air/Trax software is an added advantage

Citizenship Status Requirement: U.S. citizenship required: Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S.
