Multimedia/ Content Regulation
the provisions of The UCC Act 2013 Laws of Uganda with a principal goal of
developing a modern communications sub-sector and Infrastructure in Uganda, in
conformity with the operationalization of the Telecommunications Policy.
Officer Content Regulation will primarily monitor compliance of the content
operators with the content requirement in relation to the laws, licensing
conditions, set regulations and frameworks, facilitate the licensing process of
the operators and responding to complaints raised in accordance with the
guidelines under the commission’s mandate.
Experience:
The ideal candidate for the Uganda
Communications Commission (UCC) Senior Officer Content Regulation job placement
should hold a Master’s degree in Law, Media Management and Media studies; Mass Communication or a related field
Possession
of a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Law, Media Management and Media studies,
Mass Communication or a related field
At least four years of relevant working
experience, content regulation or media management in a similar corporate
setting
Personal Competences: Content Regulation, Monitoring and
compliance, Research and development,
Management of information and records, Interpersonal skills, Communication
skills, Integrity, Initiative and innovation
