Manufacturer in Africa with operations in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia,
Rwanda, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo and South Sudan. Movit Products
Limited manufactures Skin and Hair products.
Job Summary:  The General Manager-SIM Plastics will provide
an oversight role in all operations of the company in the different departments
and ensure maximization of outputs and profits for the benefit of all
stakeholders.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities: 
·        
Take lead in setting targets and coordinate the
work of different line managers to ensure achievements of set targets;
·        
Offer timely support to the management team in
developing corporate plans, annual operating plans and budgets as well as
developing various strategies that enable target to be achieved;
·        
Receive and analyze departmental reports for any
necessary follow up actions/ issues and provide appropriate feedback to the
respective line managers;
·        
Guarantee good custody of the company assets;
·        
Ensure and foster good public relations with all
stakeholders of the company;
·        
Participate 
where necessary in negotiating the terms of agreements on behalf of the
company;
·        
Manage and approve procurement processes and
actions of the procurement committee as it exercises its duties; and
·        
Performs any other responsibilities as may be
assigned to him/her by the Managing Director.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
·        
The ideal candidate for the Movit Products
Limited (MPL) General Manager-SIM Plastics career vacancy must hold a Master’s
degree in any of the following fields: Economics, Finance, Risk Management,
Statistics, Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration or Management from a
reputable university;
·        
At least five years’ work experience in an
similar position in a busy Business environment;
·        
Demonstrate excellent management and leadership
skills;
·        
Possess the ability to motivate the workforce to
attain maximum productivity;
·        
Ability to work with minimum supervision;
·        
Good industrial and public relations;
·        
Possess the ability to make decisions under
pressure;
·        
Ability to put in extra hours of work;
·        
Business strategy, presentation and networking
skills;
·        
Broad knowledge and understanding of technical
proficiency on Ms. Excel, Power point and general ICT functionality.
