Job Summary: The Room Attendant will be primarily responsible
for cleaning rooms as assigned. Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies
and handling guest requests or complaints and ensuring the confidentiality and
security of all guest rooms
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Maintain complete knowledge of correct
    maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended
  • Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly
    and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all
    times
  • Be familiar with all hotel services/features
    and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
  • Regularly monitor and maintain cleanliness,
    sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
  • Clean guest rooms by category priority
  • Transport cart with cleaning supplies,
    amenities and linens to assigned guest room and position securely
  • Service assigned guest rooms 
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicants should preferably have training
    in guest relations
  • Previous experience in hospitality is desired
  • Ability to carry out job functions with
    attention to detail, speed and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize and organize
  • Be able to understand guest’s service needs
  • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a
    team
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest
    information
