Job Summary: The Database Administrator will be responsible for
the designing, organizing, modifying, installing, and supporting of SGS Uganda
Automotive VIMS databases.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Database
Administrator vacancy should hold a BSc. Computer Science, Information
Science, Mathematics or Software Engineering. - Specialized Database Administration training
and qualifications for common large RDBMSs. - Professional graduate degree in Information
System is an added advantage. - Previous experience of a minimum of four
years directly related to Oracle Database , Oracle Linux or any other UNIX
Operating Systems support - Working knowledge of the common backup
technologies.
